Como cada año par, del 5 al 9 de junio se celebra el Salón de la Aviación y el Espacio ILA 2024 en el Berlín ExpoCenter situado en el recinto del aeropuerto de Berlín-Brandeburgo.
Casi 95.000 visitantes visitaron los 600 stands y observaron los cincuenta aviones expuestos.
Los dos primeros días estuvieron reservados a los profesionales; el viernes, una sala entera con el tema “ILA Talent Hub” ofreció a los jóvenes interesados oportunidades en una de las carreras del sector aeronáutico o espacial.
Para los 2 días del fin de semana, se abrieron las puertas al público con el espectáculo aéreo.
Este año, uno de los temas del salón se centró en el futuro de la industria aeroespacial, en particular las nuevas tecnologías que deben implementarse para alcanzar en los albores de 2050 los programas de protección del medio ambiente y de sostenibilidad exigidos por la Comisión Europea.
El salón se centra ahora en los logros de la industria alemana y su participación en los distintos programas aeroespaciales internacionales, así como en la convocatoria de selección de candidatos, ofreciéndoles una formación cada vez más especializada y la integración profesional de los mismos en el entorno aeroespacial.
Lugar de encuentro de profesionales, con las perspectivas de firma de contratos durante el salón, en particular el de 1.900 millones de euros entre Airbus Helicopters y la Policía Federal alemana para el suministro de helicópteros H-225 Super Puma.

As in every even-numbered year, the ILA 2024 Aviation and Space Show will take place from 5 to 9 June at the Berlin ExpoCenter on the grounds of Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

The German company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) has signed a contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) for the supply of Joint Strike Missiles (JSM) to equip its Lockheed Martin F-35As. The first deliveries are expected to take place in 2026.
