El Club aéreo de Curacaví abrió la temporada de los festivales aéreos con un encuentro organizado los 7 y 8 de octubre pasados. También se inauguró en forma oficial la nueva pista asfaltada.

Para mí fue la oportunidad de visitar las instalaciones del aeródromo y hacer un inventario de las aeronaves estacionadas u operando desde este aeródromo localizado entre las ciudades de Santiago y Valparaíso.
Participaron como invitados aviones del Club Aéreo de Valparaíso y Viña del Mar pero también clubes con base en Curacaví

En estos 2 días el público pudo disfrutar de unas actividades tal como las presentaciones de acrobacias efectuadas por el RV Team Chile y los tradicionales vuelos populares.

Mis visitas a los hangares de los Club Aéreo Adolfo Menadier y Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez me dieron las posibilidades de fotografiar los aviones estacionados

Por supuesto siempre espero encontrar unos posibles candidatos que fotografié en otros años y otros lugares.  Fue el caso para el Cessna 180 CC-LNA que vi por primero en Tobalaba en 1974 con la matricula CC-PCB y luego en Los Cerrillos con unas pinturas bien atractivas en 1990.

El segundo candidato es el Cessna 172 CC-CUK que fotografié en Tobalaba en 1973 con matrícula CC-KSF del Club Aéreo de Santiago

Otro avión que quiero agregar en esta presentación es el Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee CC-PDG que fotografié en el aeródromo de Vitacura en 1974.

Quiero agradecer el personal del Club Aéreo de Curacaví así como los responsables de los hangares por haberme permitido los accesos y realizar este trabajo.

The aviation Club of Curacaví opened the season of the Airshows with a meeting organized the past 7 and 8 of October. The new paved runway was officially inaugurated as well.
During those 2 days, the public could enjoy activities such as the aerobatic presentations made by the RV Team Chile and the traditional popular flights.
For me it was the opportunity to visit the aerodrome facilities and make an inventory of the aircraft parked or operating from this airfield located between the cities of Santiago and Valparaiso. Aircrafts from the aviation club of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar participated as guests, but also clubs based in Curacaví
My visits to the hangars of the Club Aéreo Adolfo Menadier and Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez gave me the oportunity to photograph the parked aircraft
Of course I always hope to find some potential candidates that I photograph in other years and other places and it was the case for the Cessna 180 CC-LNA that I saw first in Tobalaba in 1974 with the CC-PCB registration and then in 1990 in Los Cerrillos with a attractive colour scheme.
The second candidate is the Cessna 172 CC-CUK that I photographed in Tobalaba in 1973 with registration CC-KSF of the Club Aéreo de Santiago.
