El pasado 29 de septiembre llegó a Chile el primero de los helicópteros que operara durante la temporada 2021-2022, en la lucha de incendios aquí en Chili. Se trata del Bell 205 A-1+ C-GSGK perteneciendo a la empresa canadiense Guardian Helicopters Inc.

El 30 del mismo mes emprendió su vuelo desde el aeropuerto de Iquique hacia La Serena donde pernocto.
Finalmente 1ero de octubre inicio el trayecto hacia Rancagua donde estará su base de operación, con la Forestal Mininco, pero también con la CONAF.

On September 29, the first of the helicopters to operate during the 2021-2022 season arrived in Chile in the fire fight here in Chili. It is the Bell 205 A-1 + C-GSGK belonging to the Canadian company Guardian Helicopters Inc.
On the 30th of the same month he started his flight from the Iquique airport to La Serena where he stayed overnight.
Finally, on October 1st, the journey to Rancagua will be started, where its base of operations will be, with Forestal Mininco, but also with CONAF.

El segundo helicóptero en hacer escala en la Serena fue el Aérospatiale AS 332L1 Super Puma C-FPUK de Hélicoptères Hélicarrier quien el 25 de noviembre aterrizó en el aeródromo de la Serena -la Florida. Luego de terminar sus operaciones de reabastecimiento en combustible, siguió su viaje a Temuco para luego iniciar sus operaciones de lucha de incendio para la temporada 2021-2022.

Meses después, este mismo helicóptero fue presentado en la FIDAE 2022.

The second helicopter to make a stopover in La Serena was the Aérospatiale AS 332L1 Super Puma C-FPUK of Hélicoptères Hélicarrier, which on November 25 landed at the La Serena airfield in Florida. After finishing its refuelling operations, it continued its trip to Temuco to then start its firefighting operations for the 2021-2022 season.
This same helicopter was presented at FIDAE 2022.
