Los festivales aéreos o puertas abiertas de los clubes de aviación dan oportunidades para compartir en familia o entres amigos días de visitas en los aeródromos y procuran instantes de alegrías en poder volar por una suma relativa en los aviones puestas a disposiciones del público durante las actividades de vuelos populares y quien sabe despertar unas posibles vocaciones.

 

 

 

 

Para nosotros aficionados de la aviación en general es también la oportunidad de ver una concentración de aeronaves tantos del propio club organizador que de los clubes invitados y a veces también de la FF.AA.

 

 

 

 

Este domingo 5 de noviembre, el Club aéreo de Melipilla, una comuna importante al suroeste de Santiago, organizaba así su jornada de Festival Aéreo, dando al público además de las actividades mencionadas, también las presentaciones de la Escuadrilla de Paracaidismo “Boinas Azules” de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile, confirmando de esta manera su constante vínculo con la comunidad. La presentación de la mencionada escuadrilla atrajo un público numeroso e entusiasta.

 

 

 

 

También se pudo contemplar unas demostraciones de aeromodelismo así como una exposición de aviones clásicos y la presencia de stands con productos de la zona o comidas tradicionales permitían un momento de relajación.

A fines de satisfacer las amplias demandas para los vuelos populares, el anfitrión puso a disposiciones aviones de su flota pero también tenía como colaboradores a esta actividad clubes invitados de la zona sin olvidar los socios del mismo club o privados y empresas con base en Melipilla.

 

 

 

 

Contaba con la ayuda y promoción de la Municipalidad de Melipilla y la 1ª Compañía de Bomberos de esta municipalidad. Si la entrada era liberada, los cobros de estacionamientos eran destinados en su totalidad al cuerpo de Bomberos para apoyar el traslado a su nueva dependencia.
Al igual que mi desplazamiento a CuracavÍ, esta jornada fue para mí una oportunidad de agregar a mi archivo aeronaves jamás vistas y por supuesto buscar eventuales candidatos que había fotografiado en ocasiones anteriores.
Si se disfrutó, en la zona de exposición de aviones clásicos, de la presencia de 3 Champion 7EC de los cuales el CC-KMD es parte del inventario del Club aéreo de Melipilla y un Piper J3C-65 con matrícula CC-POV, había que destacar la presencia del Ercoupe 415-C CC-ABS, uno de los 2 inscritos en el registro de matrículas civiles de la DGAC.

 

 

 

 

Mi objetivo era de poder fotografiar el Cessna 150 CC-KMB perteneciendo al Club Aéreo de Melipilla. Lo fotografié en mi primera visita al aeródromo de Tobalaba en julio de 1973 con la matrícula CC-SJC del Club Aéreo de Rio Bueno y la Unión.

 

 

 

 

Pero un segundo candidato fue el Cessna 150A CC-CBK perteneciendo a Megaparts S.A. que fotografié este mismo día de Julio 1973, como CC-NIB del Club Aéreo de Iquique.

The Aviation Clubs Air Shows or open doors gives the opportunities for families or friends to share days of visits at the aerodromes and provides moments of joy in being able to fly, for a relative amount, on the planes made available to the public during the activities of popular flights and, who knows, to awaken possible vocations.
For us aviation enthusiast in general it is also the opportunity to see a concentration of aircraft from the organizing club itself as well as invited clubs and even sometimes the Armed Forces.

This Sunday, November 5, the Aviation Club of Melipilla, an important community southwest of Santiago, organized its Aviation Festival, giving to the public, in addition to the aforementioned activities, also the presentations of the Chile Air Force Parachute Team «Boinas Azules», confirming in this way its constant link to the community.
The presentation of the aforementioned team attracted a large and enthusiastic public.
It was also possible to contemplate demonstrations of aeromodelling as well as an exhibition of classic airplanes and the presence of stands with products of the area or traditional meals allowed a moment of relaxation.
In order to meet the broad demands for popular flights, the host put aircraft of its fleet but had also as partners in this activity invited clubs of the area, without forgetting the club’s own members or private and companies based in Melipilla.
It had the support and promotion of the Municipality of Melipilla as well as the 1st Fire Company of this municipality. If the entrance was free of charge, the parking charges were allocated to the Fire Department to support the transfer to their new unit.
As for my visit to Curacaví, this day was for me the opportunity to add to my archive aircrafts never seen before and of course to look for potential candidates that I had photographed on previous occasions.

If one could enjoyed, in the exhibition area of classic airplanes, the presence of 3 Champion 7EC of which
CC-KMD is part of the inventory of the Melipilla Aero Club, and a private Piper J3C-65 with CC-POV registration, we had to highlight the presence of the Ercoupe 415-C CC-ABS, one of 2 registered in the civil registrations of the DGAC.
My aim was to be able to photograph the Cessna 150 CC-KMB belonging to the Melipilla Aero Club.
I photographed it on my first visit to Tobalaba in July 1973 with the registration CC-SJC of the Aero Club of Rio Bueno and the Union.
However, a second candidate was the Cessna 150A CC-CBK belonging to Megaparts S.A.
I photographed it the same day of July 1973, as CC-NIB of the Aero Club of Iquique.
