Mi primera visita a la Republica Dominicana fue en mayo de 1986 cuando viajé por 3 días a Santo Domingo con la intención de tomar fotos de los Lockheed Super Constellation operando con AeroChagos.
Además de poder visitar estos venerables cuatrimotores tuve la oportunidad de ver también un Boeing C-97G Stratofreighter operando con Agro Air Associates.

Luego de la quiebra de la compañía aérea nacional belga SABENA tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con la línea aérea SOBELAIR y en sus operaciones de vuelos tenía entre otras la República Dominicana con Puerto Plata y Punta Cana.

My first visit to the Dominican Republic was in May of 1986 when I travelled for 3 days to Santo Domingo with the intention of taking pictures of the Lockheed Super Constellation operating with AeroChagos.
In addition to being able to visit these venerable four-engines, I had the opportunity to see also a Boeing C-97G Stratofreighter operating with Agro Air Associates.

After the bankruptcy of the Belgian national airline SABENA, I had the opportunity to work with SOBELAIR and in its flight operations it had, among others, the Dominican Republic with Puerto Plata and Punta Cana.
