Como tripulante de cabina de la línea aérea belga SABENA tuve la oportunidad de viajar a menudo a Luanda. La primera vez fue en febrero 1988 y esto hasta 1995.
Los vuelos llegaban los lunes y viernes luego de una escala en Kinshasa. También se efectuaba un cambio de tripulación en la capital de Congo (En estos años Zaire) y la estadía en la loza de Luanda era de unos 5h40.
La tripulación era trasladado a un hotel de la ciudad angoleña pero por mi parte, me quedaba yo en el avión para por supuesto satisfacer mi interés en el tráfico aéreo local.
Eso me dio las oportunidades de tomar fotos que quiero compartir con usted.
Estudiando el histórico de estos aviones, unos fueron retirados del servicio a cumplir una labora de varios años, el 747 –100 de SABENA está en el Museo de aviación y del espacio de Paris Le Bourget.
Lastimosamente, unos cuantos se accidentaron o fueron víctimas de tiros enemigos.

As a cabin crew with the Belgian airline SABENA, I had the opportunity to travel often to Luanda. The first time was in February 1988 and this until 1995.
The flights arrived on Mondays and Fridays after a stopover in Kinshasa. There was also a crew change in the capital of Congo (Zaire in these years) and the stay on the tarmac of Luanda was about 5h40.
The crew was transferred to a hotel in the Angolan city but for me, I stayed on the plane to satisfy of course my interest in local air traffic.
It gave me the opportunities to take pictures that I want to share with you.
Studying the history of these aircraft, some were removed from service after several years of work, the 747 -100 of SABENA is in the Aviation and  Space Museum of Paris Le Bourget.
Unfortunately, a few were written of in accidents or victims of enemy shots.
