Este domingo 8 de abril, 2018, la vigésima edición de FIDAE, la Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio cerró sus puertas luego de 6 días en los cuales la prensa y el público pudieron apreciar las presentaciones aéreas del Airbus A350 y A400M, el nuevo Embraer KC-390 y tantas otras aeronaves destacadas.

 

En las evoluciones acrobáticas por supuesto el F-22A Raptor se robaba la atención del público.
Sin embargo, el F-16 MLU y F-5 Tigre III de la FACh cautivaron también a muchos de los presentes.

 

Los Halcones y la Esquadrilha da Fumaça brasileira hicieron una destacada presentación volando en formación.

 

Como en 2016, se repitió la oportunidad de comparar el AT-29 Super Tucano de la FACh con el KT-1P Torito de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú.

 

Para la prensa acreditada y público visitando diariamente la Feria, la expectativa de la presencia del Sikorsky S- 64F Skycrane se concretó finalmente el jueves con la llegada del N171AC “Annie”, lo que dio la oportunidad de apreciar su demostración en simulación de lucha de incendio.

 

Aeronaves que impresionaron también el público tanto por su aspecto que por sus evoluciones fueron el Pitts S2 S piloteado por el americano Skip Stewart, el Ela 10 Eclipse al mando del español Francisco Carmona así como el RV Team Chile con los pilotos Hernán Santibáñez y Fernando Abasolo.

 

Por supuesto el icono de la FIDAE 2018 fue sin dudas algunas el Boeing B-52H que se destacaba en la losa del grupo 10 por sus grandes dimensiones. Otras de las atracciones destacadas fueron la presencia de los 2 F-35.

 

FIDAE no es solo un show aéreo o una presentación estática de los aviones sino que también propone una variedad de conferencias y encuentro internacionales.
Una visita en los pabellones de exposiciones permitía a los visitantes apreciar los avances realizados en tecnología de comunicaciones, navegaciones aéreas, simulación de vuelo pero también armamentos de puntas y sistemas de defensas.

 

 

En conclusión y tal como lo citaba el comandante en jefe de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile General del Aire Jorge Robles Mella, FIDAE se ha desarrollado, a lo largo de los años, no solo como un festival aéreo sino que también el anfitrión de conferencias y reuniones en las cuales las distintas delegaciones invitadas pueden intercambiar ideas e informarse de los últimos adelantos en los distintos aspectos de las aeronáutica militar, civil pero también en el aérea espacial de América Latina
Las cifras hablan por sí mismo y demuestra una vez más el éxito de esta organización.

59 países participantes y 533 empresas expositores con más de 120 mil asistentes.
6 países nuevos entregados a la lista de los participantes: Finlandia, Ucrania, Bielorrusia, Portugal, Paraguay e Indonesia
8 Hall de exposición y 4 pabellones temáticos: Aviación Civil y Comercial, Espacial, Chile y por primera vez la presentación del pabellón de RPAS/UAV (Drones). Por primera vez se presentó un pabellón de Pymes europeas que tuvo 323 reuniones con 37 países participantes.
21.800 m2 de exposición bajo techo y 91.000 m2 al aire libre.
Un total de 138 aeronaves. Tanto en exposición estáticas que en presentaciones en vuelo y para concluir:
1761 periodistas nacionales e internacionales acreditados
Público Total Asistente: 123.189.

Las exhibiciones del fin de semana demostraron sus capacidades para compartir en familia lo más destacado del mundo aeroespacial y aeronáutico y reforzaron el acercamiento de las FF.AA. a la sociedad.

Para su información y calendario de programaciones, FIDAE anunció que la próxima edición se realizara entre el 31 de marso y 5 de abril 2020.

A visit to the exhibition pavilions allowed visitors to appreciate the advances made in communications technology, aerial navigations, flight simulation but also weaponry and defence systems.
In conclusion, and as quoted by the commander-in-chief of the Chilean Air Force General of the Air Force Jorge Robles Mella, FIDAE has developed over the years, not only as an air festival but also the host of conferences and meetings in which the different invited delegations can exchange ideas and learn about the latest developments in the different aspects of military, civil aeronautics but also in the Latin American air space
The figures speak for themselves and once again demonstrates the success of this organization.
