Sábado 1 de diciembre, el Club de Planeadores de Vitacura organizaba su jornada de puertas abiertas en el aeródromo de la comuna de Vitacura, ubicado en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile.

Las actividades se iniciaron a partir de las 10 de la mañana y hubo que notar el espacio disponible para el público, que podía así contemplar los aviones en exposición estática a lo largo del aeródromo y también otras actividades y exhibiciones presentes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Entre ellas una colección de autos antiguos destacados.

 

 

El club de Aeromodelos de Chile presentaba unos modelos a escalas y también realizó demostraciones de acrobacias.

 

 

El público presente pudo contemplar las acrobacias efectuadas por Hernán Santibáñez, al mando de su HSR Van’s RV-7 CC-AFN.

 

 

También Carlos Rocca Vidal efectuó una demostración destacado con el Pilatus B4 PC-11 CC-AJQ del Club de Planeadores de Vitacura, sin olvidar la participación del Schempp-Hirth Arcus M CC-AIG, un planeador autopropulsado.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Si en los años anteriores los vuelos populares se hicieron tanto en aviones como en helicópteros, este año solo helicópteros estuvieron disponibles para estas actividades.
Cabe destacar que los fondos recaudados en estas particulares actividades fueron entregados a la Teletón 2018.

 

 

 

 

Además de los aviones particulares, así como del Club de Santiago y el club anfitrión, pudimos notar la tradicional presencia de la Aviación Naval pero este año con un Airbus Helicopters (Eurocopter) SH-32 Super Puma equipado de un misil Exocet, la Fuerza Aérea de Chile con uno de sus recién entregados Sikorsky MH-60M Black Hawk, La Brigada de Aviación del Ejército de Chile con un Airbus Helicopters (Eurocopter) AS-532 ALe Cougar y un McDonnell Douglas HU-53 (MD-530 Defender) »H-195» Ejercito así como la Prefectura Aérea de Carabineros de Chile con el AgustaWestland AW109E Power.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Otro helicóptero presente en la zona estática era el AgustaWestland AW109S Grand de Aerocardal, operando con la clínica alemana.

On Saturday, December 1, the Vitacura Gliders Club organized its open day at the airfield of the Vitacura municipality, located in the city of Santiago de Chile.

The Club de Aeromodelos of Chile presented models at scales and performed acrobatics.

In addition, Carlos Rocca Vidal made an outstanding demonstration with the Pilatus B4 PC-11 CC-AJQ of the Gliders Club of Vitacura, without forgetting the participation of the Schempp-Hirth Arcus M CC-AIG, a self-propelled glider.
If in the previous year’s popular flights were operated both in airplanes and in helicopters, this year only helicopters were available for these activities.
It should be recalled that the funds raised in these particular activities were delivered to the Telethon 2018.
