En Octubre de 1975, en mi viaje de regreso desde Chile a Bélgica hice escala, entre otras, en el aeropuerto de Panamá-Tocumen. Este me dio la oportunidad de fotografiar mientras esperaba mi conexión a México.
In October 1975, on my return trip from Chile to Belgium, I made a stopover, among others, at the Panama-Tocumen airport. This gave me the opportunity to photograph while waiting for my connection to Mexico.

El Twin Otter FAP-205 fue víctima de un trágico accidente el 31 de julio de 1981 cuando en un vuelo corto desde Penonomé hasta Coclecito, impactó la ladera del cerro Marta a una altura de 3400 pies (1036 metros) en condiciones de tiempo adversos resultando con 7 víctimas fatales entre otras el presidente de Panamá General Omar Torrijos.
The Twin Otter FAP-205 was the victim of a tragic accident on July 31, 1981 when, on a short flight from Penonomé to Coclecito, it impacted the slope of Cerro Marta at an altitude of 3400 feet (1036 meters) in adverse weather conditions resulting with 7 fatalities, among others the president of Panama General Omar Torrijos.
