El pasado 8 de junio, la compañía Aérea LATAM oficializó su nombramiento como la línea aérea oficial de la Selección Chilena de Fútbol.
Esto significa que será encargada de transportar los jugadores de la Selección así como el cuerpo técnico a lo largo de las clasificatorias para el Mundial Qatar 2022 pero también la CONMEBOL Copa América Brasil 2021.
LATAM será así el proveedor para el transporte aéreo de las diferentes selecciones de fútbol del país (Masculina Adulta, Femeninas y Juveniles) hasta 2022.

LATAM presento el CC-BAJ, una de sus aeronaves Airbus A320-232 decorada con un diseño gráfico presentando jugadoras y jugadores de las respectivas selecciones de fútbol.

Por el lado izquierdo están: Paulo Díaz, Carla Guerrero, Arturo Vidal y Daniela Zamora.

Y por el lado derecho se presentan: Yanara Aedo, Guillermo Maripán, Christiane Endler asi que Mauricio Isla.

También está escrita la siguiente consigna: “Llevar a La Roja más alto. Eso que nos hace volar”. Además se agrego, debajo de las ventanas del puesto de mando, una marca tricolor y cerca del diseño gráfico la escarapela de la Federación de Fútbol de Chile.

En su discurso de presentación el señor Andreas Schek, Vicepresidente de Ventas de LATAM Airlines Group declaro lo siguiente: “Esta designación viene a reforzar el compromiso de LATAM de conectar no solo ciudades y países, sino también el sentimiento de nuestros deportistas, más allá de las fronteras. Hoy nos sumamos al sueño de los chilenos de llevar a ‘La Roja’ rumbo a Qatar 2022 con los más altos estándares de seguridad”.

Por su parte Pablo Milad, presidente de la Federación de Fútbol de Chile habló sobre el acuerdo con LATAM “Estamos muy felices de concretar esta alianza estratégica con LATAM. Al convenio que tenemos operativo para vuelos de equipos profesionales del fútbol chileno, sumamos este acuerdo para nuestras selecciones. “El Avión de La Roja” permitirá que las selecciones viajen, con todas las comodidades y medidas sanitarias, representando al país en todas las latitudes.”
Es de recordar que, al igual que en todos los vuelos del grupo, el transporte de “La Roja” se realizará bajo los más estrictos protocolos de seguridad.
Cabe destacar que SKYTRAX (auditoría creada en el Reino Unido dedicada al análisis y comparación en materia de calidad de las diferentes aerolíneas y aeropuertos de todo el mundo) otorgó la mayor calificación de estándar de seguridad e higiene al grupo LATAM.
También la Asociación de Experiencia de Pasajeros de Aerolíneas (APEX, por sus siglas en inglés), junto al sitio especializado SimpliFlying, otorgó al grupo la categoría “Diamante”, la más alta del estándar APEX Health Safety impulsado por SimpliFlying.

Un segundo Airbus A320 lleva también los stickers de la Roja. Se trata del CC-BAY, un A320-214.

Para los modelistas, las diferencias entre los dos aviones están en los siguientes: El CC-BAJ es un modelo A320-232 con los motores International Aero Engines IAE V2500 mientras que el CC-BAY viene con motores CFM International CFM56-5.

Otro detalle está en los diseños gráficos. El BAJ tenía una representación de la bandera chilena debajo de la cabina de mando, lo que no es el caso para el BAY.

En cuanto a la representación de los jugadores, estos son casi los mismos para los dos aviones.
Igual si se nota un detalle: Por el lado izquierda, en el CC-BAY falta parte del brazo derecho del jugador Paulo Diaz.

Lo mismo ocurre en el lado derecho del fuselaje del mismo avión. Falta también parte del brazo izquierdo del jugador Mauricio Isla.

Otra diferencia esta en la posición del escudo de la Federación de Fútbol de Chile, pero solo por el lado izquierda.

Ultima diferencia esta en el texto “Llevar la Roja más alto. Eso que nos hace volar”. Para el CC-BAY este está más cerca de “LATAM”.

Pero a la fecha del 19 de agosto por lo menos, el BAJ fue fotografiado en la Serena con los colores normales de LATAM.

On June 8th, the LATAM Air Company confirmed its commitment as the official airline of the Chilean Soccer Team.
This means that it will be in charge of transporting the National Team players as well as the coaching staff throughout the qualifications for the Qatar 2022 World Cup but also the CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2021.
