Brussels Airlines presentó el 15 de noviembre de 2022 el nuevo avión decorado con los colores de los Red Devils y los Red Flames (los equipos nacionales de fútbol profesional masculino y femenino de Bélgica) denominado «Trident».

Este avión transportará no sólo a los equipos según las competencias en los distintos torneos sino también a otros pasajeros con destino a las ciudades habituales de la red de la compañía.

Peter Gerber, CEO de Brussels Airlines, dijo:

: «Como embajador de Bélgica, hemos tenido el honor de ser la aerolínea oficial de los Red Devils y Red Flames durante muchos años. Hoy, podemos mostrarle al mundo cómo apoyamos a ambos equipos, al dedicando nuestro icono belga más nuevo a los Red Devils y los Red Flames.
Es una declaración para abogar por la igualdad de oportunidades para todos, en el fútbol y en todas partes”, dijo Peter Gerber.

Anteriormente otro avión también llevaba una condecoración de los Diablos Rojos.

El Tridente anterior, dedicado a los Red Devils, se reveló en abril de 2016 y llevó a la selección belga de fútbol a varios partidos, incluidos los Campeonatos de Europa en Burdeos en 2016 y la Copa del Mundo en Rusia en 2018. A principios de este año, este Tridente también llevó Red Flames a Inglaterra para el Campeonato de Europa. Este nuevo avión despegará el miércoles 16 de noviembre para su primer vuelo a París antes de muchos otros a partir de entonces.

En cuanto a la selección nacional, salió rápidamente de la presentación para abordar su autobús y seguir embarcando a bordo del A330 que despegó a las 12:17 con destino a Kuwait donde permanecerá 3 días, para disputar un último partido amistoso con Egipto antes de incorporarse Qatar para el inicio del «Mundial». En los partidos de grupo se enfrentarán a Canadá, Marruecos y Croacia.
